Airtel Africa provides mobile telecommunications and mobile-money services across 14 African countries. It combines voice and data networks with Airtel Money, giving it exposure to rising smartphone use, digital payments and financial inclusion across fast-growing markets.

23 July 2026: Q1 FY2027 results showed the customer base up 11.6% to 189m and data customers up 15.5% to 87.3m. Airtel Money annualised transaction value rose 51.5% to more than $245bn.
Follows a progressive policy targeting mid- to high-single-digit annual growth. FY2026 total dividend was 7.10 US cents per share: 2.84 cents interim and 4.26 cents final. The final dividend went ex-dividend on 18 June 2026 and was paid on 24 July.
