Anglo American is a global mining group being reshaped around copper and premium iron ore, with crop nutrients offering a longer-term growth option. It is simplifying a formerly broader portfolio while progressing major disposals and a proposed combination with Teck Resources.

30 July 2026: first-half underlying EBITDA rose 35% to $4.0bn. Portfolio restructuring continued, while the planned merger with Teck remained on track for completion between September 2026 and March 2027, with Chinese antitrust approval the final regulatory milestone.
Uses a payout policy linked to underlying earnings, so distributions are cyclical. The 2025 final dividend of 16 US cents went ex-dividend on 12 March 2026. A 23-cent 2026 interim dividend goes ex-dividend on the LSE on 20 August and is due on 29 September.
