Admiral Group is a major UK insurer best known for motor insurance. It also offers home, travel and pet cover, operates selected European motor businesses and provides consumer lending through Admiral Money, with pricing and claims discipline central to profitability.
Underwrites motor and household insurance, sells ancillary insurance products, operates comparison and distribution capabilities, provides personal loans and car finance, and runs motor-insurance businesses in selected European markets.
The UK is the dominant market, particularly private motor insurance, with additional insurance operations in Europe and lending exposure through Admiral Money.

5 March 2026: Admiral reported record 2025 profit before tax from continuing operations and refreshed its approach to returning surplus capital. On 1 June it completed the acquisition of Flock, a digital fleet-insurance specialist.
Normally pays 65% of post-tax profit as a regular dividend, with surplus capital potentially returned through specials or buybacks. The 2025 final dividend was 90.0p, including a 17.2p special element; it went ex-dividend on 7 May 2026 and was paid on 5 June.
