Avon Technologies is a specialist protective-equipment group supplying respiratory and head-protection systems for defence, security and first-responder customers. Its products are designed for hazardous environments where reliability, certification and long service lives are critical.
Military respirators and filters, chemical and biological protection, ballistic helmets, integrated head-protection systems, spares, accessories and long-term support for armed forces and security organisations.
The United States is the largest market, particularly the Department of Defense, alongside the UK and other NATO and allied defence customers. Demand is driven mainly by government and military procurement programmes.
Defence spending, NATO modernisation, major programme awards, order intake, conversion of the order book, production efficiency, new product approvals and expansion of installed fleets requiring replacement filters, spares and support.
Dependence on government procurement cycles, timing of large contracts, customer concentration, product qualification delays, manufacturing execution, supply-chain disruption, foreign exchange movements and changes in defence priorities.
29 July 2026: Avon announced a $20.1m US Army delivery order for ACH GEN II helmets, adding to a series of recent respiratory and head-protection awards. First-half results in May had shown revenue growth and a sharp improvement in adjusted operating profit.
Pays interim and final dividends. The 2026 interim is 8.1 US cents per share, ex-dividend 6 August 2026 and payable 4 September. The previous 17.0-cent final dividend went ex-dividend on 5 February 2026 and was paid on 6 March.
