Borrower default, concentration in individual credits, product or regulatory setbacks at borrowers, early repayments reducing income, interest-rate changes, illiquidity and the specialist nature of pharmaceutical credit risk.
15 July 2026: BioPharma Credit announced a new investment involving Kestra Medical Technologies, continuing its strategy of deploying capital into commercial-stage healthcare borrowers while maintaining a high quarterly income distribution.
Targets a 7 US cent annual base dividend in four quarterly 1.75-cent payments, with specials when excess income permits. In 2026 the Q1 dividend went ex-dividend on 30 April and the Q2 dividend on 2 July; the latter was paid on 31 July.
