Recent Developments

6 August 2026: easyJet agreed a £5.7bn cash takeover by Apollo Global Management at £7.15 per share after rival Castlelake withdrew. The deal is backed by the board and founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou but remains subject to approvals.

The 2025 final dividend was 13.2p per share, ex-dividend on 19 February 2026 and paid on 27 March. Future dividends are affected by the agreed Apollo takeover and will depend on the transaction timetable and permitted distributions.
