Recent Developments

17 July 2026: Johnson Matthey completed the sale of Catalyst Technologies to Honeywell for £1.325bn. It plans to return £1bn to shareholders through about £800m of special dividends and a £200m buyback while refocusing on Clean Air, PGM Services and Hydrogen Technologies.

Dividend notes

FY2026 ordinary dividends totalled 77p per share. The 55p final dividend went ex-dividend on 4 June 2026 and was paid on 4 August. The group is also planning substantial additional shareholder returns from the Catalyst Technologies disposal.
