Company summary

Oakley Capital Investments is a listed investment company giving shareholders access mainly to private-equity funds managed by Oakley Capital. The portfolio is concentrated in founder-led European businesses in technology, education, consumer and business-services markets.

02

Key activities

Investment in Oakley private-equity funds, direct co-investments and selected growth investments, with returns generated through portfolio-company growth, refinancings, disposals and fund distributions.

03

Key markets

Predominantly European mid-market private equity, with exposure to digital businesses, education, consumer brands and technology-enabled services.

04

Key drivers

Portfolio earnings growth, successful exits, private-market valuations, cash distributions from Oakley funds, deployment into new funds and narrowing of the share-price discount to NAV.

05

Key risks

Illiquid private assets, valuation uncertainty, sizeable undrawn commitments, weak exit markets, portfolio-company leverage, sector concentration, foreign exchange and a persistent discount to NAV.

06

Recent Developments

30 July 2026: estimated NAV was 782p per share at 30 June, giving a 6% total NAV return since December 2025. OCI reported £155m of available liquidity and roughly £640m of outstanding commitments; interim results on 10 September should provide more detail on exits, valuations and the 2026 buyback programme.

07

Dividend notes

OCI no longer follows a regular cash-dividend policy. From 2025 the Board shifted capital returns towards share buybacks, judging repurchases at a wide discount to NAV more accretive; the previous dividend programme has therefore been discontinued for now.
