Recent Developments

30 July 2026: Q1 FY2027 consumer revenue rose 3.9% to £614m, with Retail up 4.9% and Vet Group up 1.9%. Full-year guidance was maintained and management said the Retail Turnaround Plan was supporting momentum; the next major checkpoint is interim results on 25 November 2026.

Dividend notes

The dividend was rebased to a payout of around 50% of earnings as profits reset. FY2025/26 total dividend was 7.4p per share; the final dividend was 2.7p, ex-dividend 4 June 2026 and paid 15 July. Growth will depend on delivery of the retail recovery and earnings improvement.
