Company summary

Rosebank Industries is an industrial investment group created by former Melrose executives to acquire, improve and ultimately realise manufacturing businesses. Its strategy is concentrated on operational improvement and significant value creation over multi-year ownership periods.

02

Key activities

Acquisition and active operational improvement of industrial companies, cost reduction, portfolio repositioning, margin expansion, investment and eventual disposal of improved businesses.

03

Key markets

Predominantly North American industrial markets, with businesses serving aerospace, engineered components, electrical systems, food processing and other manufacturing sectors.

04

Key drivers

Successful acquisitions, operational restructuring, margin improvement, cash generation, deleveraging and eventual disposal multiples.

05

Key risks

High acquisition and execution risk, leverage, cyclical industrial demand, integration of large businesses, restructuring costs, interest rates and dependence on management's turnaround record.

06

Recent Developments

May 2026: Rosebank completed the acquisitions of CPM and MW Components, giving it three major US industrial businesses alongside Electrical Components International. The combined acquisitions were valued at about $3.1bn; July trading commentary was positive, and the principal 2027 question is how quickly management can lift margins and reduce leverage.

07

Dividend notes

Rosebank is not currently an income stock and has not established a regular dividend policy. Cash is being directed toward acquisitions, restructuring and operational improvement, with shareholder value expected primarily through capital growth and eventual disposals.
