Company summary

Raspberry Pi Holdings designs low-cost single-board computers, compute modules and microcontrollers used by enthusiasts, educators and increasingly by industrial and embedded-system customers. A large proportion of demand comes from professional and commercial applications.

02

Key activities

Design and sale of Raspberry Pi computers, Compute Modules, microcontrollers, accessories and semiconductors, supported by software, developer tools and an extensive ecosystem.

03

Key markets

Global industrial and embedded computing, education, hobbyist electronics, robotics, automation, digital signage, medical devices and energy-management applications.

04

Key drivers

Unit shipments, industrial demand, product launches, pricing, product mix, semiconductor and memory availability, gross margin and expansion of the microcontroller platform.

05

Key risks

DRAM and semiconductor shortages, component-price inflation, supplier concentration, rapid technology change, customer inventory cycles, currency movements and competition.

06

Recent Developments

5 June 2026: Raspberry Pi upgraded its full-year profit outlook, expecting H1 adjusted EBITDA of at least $38m after strong industrial demand and favourable mix. The main issue for H2 and 2027 is memory supply: low-cost DRAM inventories will run down and the company is using debt facilities for strategic purchases to protect production.

07

Dividend notes

Raspberry Pi does not currently pay an ordinary dividend. Cash is retained for product development, working capital and strategic component purchases as the company expands, so near-term shareholder returns are primarily dependent on earnings growth and valuation.
