12 February 2026: Schroders agreed a recommended acquisition by Nuveen valuing the group at about £9.9bn, with shareholders entitled to up to 612p per share including permitted dividends. Completion is expected in Q4 2026, making deal approval and completion much more important to near-term investors than standalone 2027 earnings.
Schroders pays dividends twice yearly. The 2026 interim dividend is 7.0p per share, ex-dividend 6 August and payable 20 August; the 2025 final dividend was 15.0p, leaving the prior full-year total at 21.5p.
