June-July 2026: the company confirmed a managed wind-down, suspended regular dividends and shifted its priority to selling assets and reducing roughly £190m of debt before returning residual cash to shareholders. The eventual recovery value and timetable for disposals, potentially extending over several years, now dominate the investment case.
SEIT previously paid quarterly dividends and had targeted 6.36p per share for FY2026. The latest paid dividend was 1.59p, ex-dividend 26 March 2026 and paid 13 May; the Board subsequently cancelled the fourth FY2026 interim dividend and suspended further ordinary dividends during the wind-down except where needed to retain investment-trust status.
