5 August 2026: H1 underlying profit before tax rose 16% to £195.5m and underlying return on tangible equity reached 18.1%, supporting unchanged FY2026 guidance. The loan book continues to expand and the planned first dividend in 2027 will be an important milestone for the newly relisted bank.

Dividend notes

Shawbrook has not yet paid an ordinary dividend since returning to the stock market. Management intends to pay a maiden ordinary dividend in 2027 in respect of FY2026 earnings, with a progressive build thereafter; the amount has not yet been declared.
