Company summary

Senior is an international engineering group supplying high-technology components and systems, principally to aerospace and industrial customers. Its businesses are organised around Aerospace and Flexonics.

02

Key activities

Manufacture of aircraft structures and fluid systems, ducting, thermal-management products, exhaust systems, flexible connectors and engineered components.

03

Key markets

Global commercial aerospace, defence, land vehicles, power and industrial markets, with major exposure to Boeing and Airbus production programmes.

04

Key drivers

Aircraft build rates, aerospace aftermarket demand, defence spending, pricing, operational efficiency, industrial recovery and order-book conversion.

05

Key risks

Dependence on major aerospace programmes, customer concentration, supply-chain disruption, labour availability, raw-material costs, currency movements and cyclicality.

06

Recent Developments

3 August 2026: first-half results confirmed improved trading in both Aerospace and Flexonics after management had already raised full-year expectations in July. Strong commercial aerospace demand remains supportive, while investors should also watch continued takeover interest and whether higher build rates translate into stronger cash generation through 2027.

07

Dividend notes

Senior has resumed a progressive dividend following the post-pandemic recovery. The FY2025 final dividend was 2.15p per share and was paid on 29 May 2026; the 2026 interim dividend has been increased to 2.0p per share.
