May 2026 annual results showed stronger-than-expected performance and an upgraded earnings outlook toward 2028 while the company continues a very large regulated investment programme. On 13 August Ofwat provisionally approved additional spending by several water companies including Severn Trent for 2027-30, with a final decision due in December 2026.

Severn Trent follows a dividend policy linked to CPIH inflation under the current regulatory period. The FY2025/26 final dividend was 75.62p per share, taking the full-year total to 126.02p; it went ex-dividend on 28 May 2026 and was paid on 15 July.
