5 August 2026: the Q1 update reported net assets of £1.04bn, or 170.6p per share, with the life-science portfolio valued at £866.7m and the quarter broadly flat at NAV level. The revised strategy places greater emphasis on disciplined capital allocation and shareholder returns while funding clinical-stage companies such as Spur and Resolution into 2027.
Syncona does not currently pay a regular dividend. Its strategy is centred on long-term capital growth, with shareholder returns more likely to come through portfolio realisations and share buybacks.
